Australian actor Heath Ledger was found dead yesterday aftenoon by a housekeeper and masseuse in his downtown Manhattan apartment at the age of 28.

He was sick with pneumonia when he died.

Heath leaves behind his daughter, Matilda Rose, 2. Matilda’s mom and Ledger’s ex-girlfriend is actress Michelle Williams, who he met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004. The pair split in August 2007.

Michael Tylo Jr., the 19-year-old son of soap opera star Hunter Tylo, died in an accidental drowning Thursday night in the family’s swimming pool in Henderson, Nevada.

The Bold and Beautiful actress’ and her husband Michael Tylos´ son, who suffered from a seizure disorder, had a seizure and then fell into the pool.

The Tylo´s, who married in 1987, also have daughters, Izabella, 10, and Katya, 9.

Hunter Tylo, 45, also has son, Christopher, 27, from her first marriage to Tom Morehart.

One of the Sopranos best and award winning actors Michael Imperioli, who played Christopher Moltisanti on the hit series, was being killed off Sunday night. Now there are only three episodes left.

Christopher has struggled with alcoholism and homicidal tendencies throughout the past few seasons.

Yesterday night he was smothered by Tony after he lost control of his car and was critically injured.

In the show, Tony Soprano was Christopher’s mentor and uncle. But Tony was increasingly worried that Christopher might be pressured to testify because of his continuing drug problems.

The finale is set for June tenth.

The remains of James Doohan, the star “Scotty” from the American television series Star Trek, were flown into space today.

The ashes of Doohan, of Apollo 7 astronaut Gordon Cooper and of 200 other people soared into suborbital space aboard a rocket. Widows Suzan Cooper and Wende Doohan fired the rocket carrying their husbands’ ashes.

It was the first successful launch from Spaceport America, a commercial spaceport. Family members were reported to have paid $495 to place a few grams of their relatives’ ashes on the rocket.

Doohan died in July 2005 at the age of 85.
