Australian actor Heath Ledger was found dead yesterday aftenoon by a housekeeper and masseuse in his downtown Manhattan apartment at the age of 28.

He was sick with pneumonia when he died.

Heath leaves behind his daughter, Matilda Rose, 2. Matilda’s mom and Ledger’s ex-girlfriend is actress Michelle Williams, who he met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004. The pair split in August 2007.

This is the first child for the pair.

In a message posted on her official Web site on Sunday, Aguilera tells fans, “Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world.”
